Journalism Believe ir or nor, there is a group of students or GCH5 who meet for the first rime of the year in the middle of August! Well, it's true. The Journalism Class starts work in the summer hear in order to get all their ods sold for the yearbook and hopefully start the road to success The way is nor always easy, and usually long and hard, bur the spirit of unity keeps them all together and basically happy. But, their work does nor stop when school starts, ir actually increases. Other than selling advertisements for the yeobook, they must sell advertisements for the paper, write articles for the paper and publish the paper every month. The responsibility of financing the paper and yearbook also rests on them and they accomplish this through such things as selling concessions every day or recess and corsages at Homecoming. Bur, the relief of on occasional party helps keep things smooth. Under the guidance of Mrs. Barbara Gilman, the Journalism Class has learned to accomplish its goals and to constantly struggle for perfection.
