Salurororion Rira Durch Riro completed her high school career wirh o 90.93 overall overage. As a srudenr or GCHS, Riro served as band captain, trumpet section leader, and president of SAFE. She was a member of the Senior Honor Society, Srudenr Council, and Marching and Concert Band. During her Junior year, Riro served os assistant editor of the 1979 GeCoRala Yearbook and went on to become the editor-in-chief of the 1980 Ge-CoRala Yearbook during her senior year. Rita is a member of Pondrown United Methodist Church where she serves as president of Youth Fellowship. During her spare rime, Rita enjoys ploying basketball, bicycling, reading, crocheting, and listening to the radio. After graduation, Rita plans to attend Troy Stare University to study music and counseling to later become a teacher.
