Senior Sponsors And Attendants Homecoming is a special time of the year. Queens chosen, floats built, and pre-game activities practiced. GCHS has an unique way of chosing its queen. Senior football players escort the girl of their choice, in grades ten through twelve, on the field Friday night. All Senior girls asked on the field are eligible for Homecoming Queen. The other girls are eligible for attendant in their respective grades. The student body, grades ten through twelve, votes on the girls for queen and attendants. The votes are counted secretly, so no one knows the results until they are announced. Junior High, Middle School, and Elementary School attendants are chosen the week before Homecoming.
