TIMES OF YOUR LIFE On April 8, 1977, the Junior Class presented Times of Your Life at the Holiday Inn, Dothan, Alabama. A welcome was given by Junior Class President Marie Dillard with a response from Phil Sullivan, Senior Class President. Mementos — programs and mugs with the theme on them — were given to the juniors and seniors by class officers Cindy Ward and Kecia Endicott. Gifts were also presented to the Junior Class sponsors: Mrs. Barbara Gilman, Mr. Perry Stinson, and Mrs. Norma Galloway. The music was played by Pure Sterling. The focal point was a waterfall. Colors were pastel: baby blue, pink, yellow, and light green. 18

QECORfiLfi Class Beauties Every year students from the ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades vote for five girls to represent their grade in the Gecorala Beauty Contest. The top five girls in each grade participate in the contest wearing sportswear and dresses. The contest was held on September 20, 1977. Mistress of Ceremonies was Gecorala editor, Kecia Endicott. Assistant editor, Jeanna Brannon, presented the winners with roses. The stage was decorated by Adana Flowers. The judges were Mrs. Max Childs, Mrs. Felix Miller, and Mrs. Clyde Cobb. Senior participants: Marcia Atwell, Tina Messick, Cindy Ward, )anet Peacock, Marie Dillard. 20
