The new vice-principal is Mr. Charles Garvin He was graduated from Salem College receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. This far, he has completed part of his graduate studies at West Virginia and Virginia Universities. In December of 1976, he will receive his M A Degree in Secondary Educational Administration at the West Virginia College of Graduate Studies. He has taught at Woodbridge Senior High School in Virginia for 4 years and Eighth and Nlneth Grade Science at Nuttall for THE HEAD ADMINISTRATION Our man at the top is Mr. Louis Kania, principal of Gauley Bridge High School. Mr. Kania is a graduate of Glenville State College. He received his M.A. Degree from Marshall University. ln 1968, Mr. Kania obtained his principalship certificate from W.V.U. His one goal as an administrator is to provide learning activities which will enable today's students to develop into self-reliant individuals. ,- B HE

THE MEMBERS OF TH Mrs. Annie Rogers, Mrs. Barbara Taylor, Ms. Charlotte Vencill, Mrs. Karleen Dalton, and Mrs. Patsy Sizemore constitute the Language Arts Department at Gauley Bridge High. This department strives to increase the students' understanding of their own language and also foreign languages. LEFT: English 9 and 10 are taught by Mrs. Barbara Taylor. Mrs. Taylor is a graduate of Fairmont State College. In addition to her teaching duties, she is sponsor of the Student Council, the eighth grade class, and the Junior Varsity Cheerleaders. BELOW: Ms. Charlotte Vencill holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Language Arts from West Virginia Institute of Technology. Ms. Vencill teaches English ll and Journalism.
