These students worked diligently throughout the school year in order to provide excellent enter- tainment during half-time shows. ln keep- ing with school tradition, this year's band maintained the quality standard of top- notch music and showmanship for which G.B.H.S. is known. STUDENTS EXHIBIT THEIR SPECIAL MUSICAL TALENTS One of the features at Gauley Bridge High of which everyone is ex- tremely proud of is the music depart- ment. Under the direction of Mr. James Warren, Gauley Bridge has developed the best band and chorus in the county. The tradition of good quality music has thrived for years. The concert band has continued to be rated one, which is ex- cellent in both county and area band festivals. One of the added features which makes Gauley Bridge rather un- ique is the fantastic jazz band known as The Swingsters We are all very thankful to Mr. Warren for his time. effort, and dedica- tion to the music department and students of Gauley Bridge High School.
