BOTTOM: This year a poster contest was sponsored by the Charlton Heights Women's Club. The theme was Experience the Future: Commitment for Life. A cash award was presented to the first place winners and ribbons were awarded to the runners up. The first place winners then advanced to the state con- test. First place winners left to right are Mrs. Robert- son fSchool Sonsorl, 12th grade-Tilda Taylor, 11th grade-Steve Holcomb, 10th grade-Boddy Ward, 9th grade-Mark Crites. The Gauley Bridge National Honor Society replaced the Beta Club, which 'T had been in existence since 1939. These honor students are recognized on the basis of character, service, leadership, and academic ability. National Honor Society members must have a 3.0 average before be- ing considered for membership by the Faculty Advisory Committee.
