1042663 Judi an jdfamenf We, the class of Nineteen Hundred and Fifty-two of Gates High School, being in our right minds Csuch as they arel, and as we depart down the road of toil trying to find the stair steps to fame, we want to leave sane of our priceless possessions and positions, which we accumulated during our tem at Gates High School. Article I Section I To the faculty we leave our dainty appetites, and the book writ- ten by the senior class entitled How Not to Give Tough Assignments. Section II To our Ehglish teacher, Mrs. Wood, who by the way, is the eaSiSSt person we know to talk into playing Charades during E1181iS1'1.019-:Bn W' leave the book How to Keep A Straight Face When T1ZYil'18 to B9 Strict' section III 'ro our Principal non mley, we leave squealsr shoes so time in his classes will have time to ditch the answer books before he gets there. Section IV To Mrs. McMullen we leave the book How to Outsmart Your Lawyer Husband. We also want to leave a good mechanic to ride around with her while she's driving a Chevrolet car. Section V To our teacher and coach, Mr. Means, we leave five, seven foot boys and plenty of subs so he can win state championship in basketball next year. We also want to leave him a heavier car so the boys ca.n't put it on the dI'inlCl.nE fountain again. Article II Section I To the Juniors, we leave our ability to earn money the easy way. To them we also leave the book How to Break Out of San Q1entin. Section II To the Sophcmores we leave the back seats on the school busses, with the intention that they will use than as we did. CP.S. Don't forget the Freshnen have bib eyes and mouths.J Section III To the Freshnen we leave our bottle of tonic which improves your physioue and looks. Section IV To the Junior High students we leave a box of licorice cigars. Article III The Seniors leave to anyone who may wish to look at than our Sen- ior Class pictures, which may be found in the Hall of Fame on the wall.
