Leadership After having been Assistant Principal at Sam Houston Junior High School, Mr. Butler assumed this similar posi- tion at Garland High School this past year. His official title is Assistant Prin- cipal in charge of the GA Wing which includes both students and personnel. MR. BILL FINLEY Assistant Principal MR. JOHN BUTLER Assistant Principal This is Mr. Finley's second year as As- sistant Principal of Garland High School, although he is not new here. He is re- sponsible for all students and personnel in the Avenue D Wing of GHS.

Principals Provide MR. GENE HUDSON Principal Mr. Hudson, Garland High School principal, has been in the Garland school system since 1952. When he first came to Garland, he was one of the GHS coaches, and continued coaching until 1958. At this time, he took over as assis- tant principal of Garland High. Mr. Hudson as- sumed the responsibilities of principal in 1963 and has served as principal of GHS for two years. Mr. Hudson chats with Mrs. Willis during one of his rare spare moments.
