James Herrin, 6' This Is My Country A bunch of Yankee Doodles Campfire scene of the Westward Movement as the sextette sings Skip to My Lou The four branches of the military team up fon Over There This Is My Country was an original dramatiza- tion of United States history presented in Garland and Dallas. It portrayed the great freedoms we en- joy as Americans. The theme of American History was carried out by a narrator, Uncle Sam. Historical settings, with costumes and lighting effects correlated the Revolu- tionary Days, the growth of cities and school, the Civil War, the Westward Movement, World Wars I and II, and present-day America. The purpose of the show was to encourage greater loyalty and better citizenship in this great land. Mr. jim jackson, director, wrote the dialogue and continuity for this production.
