These classes in the past have been open only to seniors. A real thrill awaits a student in 'learning by doing' in chemistry laboratory experi- mentation. WW' The objectives of Physical Education are the development of general bodily vigor, grace, motor skills and coordination. The student receives training for good citizenship thru team games and group work. S The purpose of the general music class is to provide an opportunity for the increased knowledge, enjoyment, and ap- preciation of beautiful musicg and its pertinence to the pro- motion and understanding of the culture and achievements ofthe people of all nations. 5? as

Drills and tests are used in skill development and to attain maximum typing power. 1415 The purpose of art is to develop skill in self expression leading to many specialized fields for lifetime vocations, such as industrial or com- mercial design, painting, sculpture or crafts. Art is an excellent leisure time activity, an outlet for tensions, and it contributes greatly to character
