Mr. Philip Frew MAINTENANCE STAFF Garfield always takes pride in the appearance ol' its campus, gymnasium. main building, and annex. The people who make this pride possible are our jauitors, our maintenance stall. Nlr. Delbert Shelton, Head Ianitor, has the responsibility lor the maintenance of the whole plant. Mrs. Alu-rs's particular lield ol interest is the laeilities for the girls and the general appearance of the main building. Mr. Frew is the one who is on hand at all evening activities-rehearsals, dances, mixers, revues, and shows. Mr. Church keeps us warm in the winter and, in the summer, keeps our campus a thing ol beauty to be admired by all. Mr. liicks's province is the gym where he is ever-present at basketball games and practice sessions. These people deserve our respect and admiration lor the beautiful job they do in keepf ing our building and grounds one of the most attractive, il not THE most attractive, in the city. This year we tried to show our appreciation when the Student Council sponsored a lace-liftin rw redecoralion of the 'anitors' room. l
