S .Y 5 in BAKER, 1953 .... a big year .... a fast year .... a memorable year. But it won't leave us. You can almost hear the songs we sang . . . "Tell Me Whyw . . . HO Happy Day" . . . ulvlakin' Like a Train" . . . many others. And the dances! From Harvest Moon to the Farewell, 1953 was a year of new formals, rented tuxedos, and sore feet. Between dances we chose more comfortable attire . . . white bucks, navy suedes, cashmeres, yellow cords v Cpegged, no lessj, plaid scarves, and angora hats. And we always had fun . . . going to Wassels and dancing to such ILIDCS as "Unforgettable," "Lazy Riverf "That's How lt Goes," and, of course, "Blue Tango." Even at ' school when we weren't using our heads, we used our feet to trip the light fantastic to such scintillating charmers as the i'Hokey Pokeyii and X "The Bunny Hopf' . ,M N .' 3 . .
