We welcomed many new members into the club, and they have shown themselves to be eager to plunge into the work as well as the fun. Hockey. swimming, volley ball, basketball, baseball, and track were the chief sports of the year. Several parties were given. both by the new girls and old, and by the club as a whole. The crowning event was the G. A. A. play. Easy Pickens, given May 1, 1931. I am sure we all agree that it was a great success, The officers for the year 1930-31 were. ....President Mary Sullivan ..... ,,,,....... President Clara Crawford .... Helen Jones ,,,.., ....... S ecretary and Treasurer In June, many girls received awards for their efforts and accomplishments. Mary Sullivan was awarded the silver cup for being the best all-around G. A. A. girl. Those receiving Service Pins for devoting four hours a week to service in the gym were: Luella Paton Mary Kendall Dixie Frazier Doris Hackler Girls who were awarded sweaters for having 900 points were: Elizabeth Gall Clara Crawford Dorothy Sartain Wanda Detrick Hilda Edwards Irene Poleski In addition to these and numerals given out awa1'ds, Madonna Briggs Lois Kendall Lena Pearl Graf there were a large El 3 1 H- 1 Xiuctff-nine' Mary Sullivan number of letters. rnonograms.
