ERNEST ROWE - Reserve end, Ernie showed great ability in both his defensive and offensive assignments, His fearless blocking and aggerssive tackling were the scourge of the Demons' opponents. JOHN PAUL SCHUTTE - john played his first year ot' football this year and became one of the best reserve backs on the Demon team. He could pass, run, and kick with equal ability. His punting at times was the best on the team. ELMER SELMAN - Fudd ably held down right tackle spot on Demon reserves in spite of an injured knee which handicapped him this season. EARL SIDENER -- Filling in as guard, Sidener put his weight to good use in plugging holes or opening them. He is a likely prospect for ncxt year's squad. . TOMMY SIMPSON - Rosie gave one of the best showings at iight guard that has been seen in Glen- wood in many ayear. Playing the running guard po' sition, he had some difficult blocking assignments. He played hard, clean ball games and deserves the plaudit of the students. I I .

CLIFFGRD LONG - Hampered in early season with injuries, uKip improved steadily and showed a lot of promise after midseason. He played the intricate wing back slot with ease. He especially stood out in pass- running, having a nearly perfect record, IGHN MEADGR - Meador, transfer student from Salida, ably filled in as substitute end. GRANT MGGRHEAD - Grant held dowr. the right tackle spot throughout ll11fS't?2lI'. He was one ol the defensive standouts of then? Mules , smashing up plays consistently. Few teams ran plays thrcugh Grant with any success, and his ability to open up holes in the enemy defense was well proved. JAMES MULKEY - Mulk was the high scorer this year as he racked up eight touchdowns. He galloped goalward either on the end of passes or carrying the ball on dazzling runs. Although he was at his best when Glenwood had the ball, he was anything but weak on defense. Quarterback on the single wing, he also stood out in the blocking role. BRAD PRETTI - Demon reserve pivotman, Brad could be depended upon to play a consistent game at key position. As a line backer he was noted for his alactity in smashing his opponents' aerial attempts and for his fearlessness in plugging holes.

ROLLIN SININGER - The signalfcalling tailback, Stinky , led the team to its heights. He set up many scores with his brilliant open field running and bullet like passes. He was the dread ofthe conference, being a triple threat man with his passing, kicking, and run- ning bewildering all opposition. ARCH IE URQU HA RT- Arch was the mainspring of the Demon line. On the defense he was the imf movable object and on offense was the irresistible force. He opened wide holes in the opponents' lines for the backs, and he held his position so that not a single score was made through his sector during the entire season, a feat which is noteworthy of our praise. DON VANDERHOOF - During his tirst season with the Demons, this able sophomore gave promise of his worth to come. Taking over substitute quarterback, he showed the makings ofa great back. jllvl WEAVER-This senior topped off his final season with a sterling performance at right-end post. Glue- fingered catches and clean tackles were Weave's trademarks. To prove his prowess in football, lim l1HS earned three letters,
