FO0TBAl.L PERSONALITIES COACH STUBLER - Under his able guidance, the Demons took first place in the Yampa Valley League this year. Possessing extreme patience and a thorough knowledge of football, Mr. Stubler was able to get full co-operation from the boys. He was well-liked and ad- mired by the squad. Any merit the club received is due to his coaching ability. NORMAN SIMILLION - Buzz , manager ofthe '46' football team, proved by his faithfulness and sense of duty to be one of the best managers of recent years. PAUL AMICHAUX - Ami was end man on the Demons' left side. His defensive qualities and running earned him the respect of teammates and opponents alike. He played nearly all of every game. Next year Paul might easily become one of the best wingmen in the conference. GENE BROCKWAY -One of this year's lettering juniors, Brockway proved himself an asset to the Demon squad. BILL DAVlES - When Donegan wasn't smashing the opposition, Bill was. He drew his man out of position many times on clever blocks and feints. Bill's alertness in covering a fumble back of the goal line cost Craig six points.

CHARLES DEVER - Chuck started in the snap- back role this fall with no centering experience. By the end of the season, however, he had greatly improved and was playing excellent ball. He backed up the line on defense, nailing the ball-carriers the few times they plowed through the line. ERNEST DONEGAN - Bud, alternating at left tackle with Bill Davies, lived up to preseason expecta- tions. He used his weight to humble the enemy's line in fierce smashes that could not be stopped. CLEYO FERRIN -- Cleyo, diminutive wingback, ex- celled in a number of fields, those of pass receiving, tackling. and elusive riinn ng. He played rough foot' ball with the rest of the team and came out unscathed and ready for more. He was out all last fall despite an injured knee. MAX GETTS- Max understudied Peck at fullback and did a good job or it. He hit hard and was seldom stopped without a gain. He also suhbed at quateihack when needed, giving the Demons a potent backfield strength at all positions. LAVURENCE LEONARDI - Peck , returned Navy veteran, was one ofthe most valuable men on the squad. He bucked up the line and hit off tackle like a college fullback and threw up an impenetrable web at his de- fense backer-up position. ln his final game against Hotchkiss, Peck' really blossomed out as the best full- back in these parts.
