Kelly llilllill lllilii lllSlUl'l The fall of 1944 marked an important event in the lives of forty-nine hrand- new teen agers. As freshmen, they 'ost the Fiosh-Soph struggle hut they regained their confidence by winning during the sophomore year. The annual Christmas program, directed hy Mrs Almgren, was presented by the entire freshman class of 1944. Starting a new year with forty-two memb-rs, the sophomores chose the fol- lowing officers: Clifford Long, presiclenig Jentra Jarvis, vice-president, Josephine Simillion, secretary, and Sharon Donegan, treasurer. The Student Council repre- sentatives were Charles Dever and Mildred Rule. Mrs Stapp was the class spon- sor. This year there were fifty names on the class roll. The class officers are Charles Dever, presidentg Rollin Sininger, vice-presiclentg Sharon Donegan, sec- retaryg Josephine Simillion, treasurerg and Paul Amichaux and Clifford Long served as representatives of the Student Council. Under the direction of Mies Slocum, the class sponsor, the Juniors gave a three act remedy entitled College Daze. The Junior-Senior prom and luncheon were also given.
