S 4 o 'Ha g . LOYETTE GAMBA l Loyette is definitely an outstanding Senior. She gained fame first by handling class tuner ons and certain responsibilities with dexterity. Dependability, capa- bility. and ambition were characteristics which acquired for Loyette the office of Editor of the Yampah Staff in her junior year and many club offices. Since there was no band director in '46-'47, Loyette, on her own initiative, organized a pep band to play for assemblies and football and basketball games. Her assiduous ef- forts in the class room were compensated bv her being elected to the National Honor Society. Lovette played prominent character parts in both the class plays, and she was an indispensable member of both the band and orchestra. When she graduates, Loyette plans to study music and carry on her career along this line. CARLETON HUBBARD. JR. Hubby was thelife of theparty in any crowd. His ingenious wit and ex- pressions. strictly original, won him many true friends. He was a member of the baskrtball squad for three years, and he was a strong skiing and swimming enthusiast. His receptive attitude and dependability entitled him to class oilice all four years of his high sch: ol career. ln his Senior year he held the class presi dency. He always did his share or work in class projects converting the toil into good times for his fellowmates by his enjoyable manner. The students will miss Hubby and rides in his little red truck, Poody Do in '48f'49. but they wish him luck on his new venture at tht Unix ersity of Colorado. l e s 1 E l 4 i 2 P 5 5 I i
