The Music Department has had a busy and worthwhile year. ln the vocal department the following groups have functioned under the direction ot Mrs. Ruth Berg: Freshman Girls' Glee Club and Sextette, Sophomore Girls' Glee Club and Sextette, Mixed Chorus, Iunior and Senior Girls' Glee Club and Sextette. In the Instrumental Department three groups have functioned: the Grade School Orchestra, All- School Orchestra, and Band under the direction ot Mrs. Ruth Tuttle. The Music Department has participated in a number ot activities this year. A program was pre- sented at Fort Logan and Fitzsirnons tor the soldiers: a Vesper Service in November, and one in April: and a Christmas program were presented by the entire Music Department. The Band presented a benefit musical program in February, which proved a highlight of the year. The Band and Glee Clubs presented the Band Wagon, a tunetul, hilarious opereita, in May. The Band and Glee Clubs participated in the Mountain Valley League Festival in April and the Orchestra and Glee Clubs provided music tor Baccalaureate and Commencement. Y ls
