Physical Education Stressing the participation of all boys in many kinds of sports, the Physi- cal Education Department teaches freshmen and sophomores swimming, touch football, basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball, softball, track, and gymnastics. Upperclassmen are offered the same courses with addi- tional variations. Physically unable boys are given modified classes where they receive instruction in individual work as needed. On your mark! Nurse Under the direction of Mrs. Mabel Benefiel, the school health program considers the well- being of students physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. The main objectives of the program are the furtherance of the health pro- tection of the school community. Student assistants aid with the routine duties of the health office.
