Uice Principal One of the busiest people on the faculty is Mrs. LaBarthe. She is responsible for the school calendar, bus schedule, and the club calendar. She also supervises the teaching staff. As Dean of Girls she is in charge of girls ' discipline and activities. ; t Mr. Rick Rowland asks Mrs. LaBarthe ' s advice on a school problem. dean of Boys Mr. McClain is in charge of student government and the monitor system. He arranges all outside assemblies, checks eligibility of students, and takes charge of all awards. Mrs. Cole brings an important letter to Mr. McClain ' s attention. 14

During the three-year program, which is required of all pupils, specific and detailed instruction is given in English grammar, literature, and composi- tion. In addition to Latin, three modern foreign languages are taught — Spanish, French, and German — with emphasis on conversation and vocabulary building.
