THE BAND During +he early parl of l'he year, lhe desliny of 'rhe band hung in lhe balance. Buf lhe sons of La Salle performed a small mir- acle. Brolher Leonard reorganized lhe band and Mr. Smifh of Bakers- field J. C. was engaged fo lead lhe new organizalion.
