Pernie Harper is now in Chicago and is the owner of the Flamingo Club, the most exclusive night club in Chicago. She has been engaged lO Thmes but the success has been too much for her and she will never emtle4imn to being a housewife. John Marsh is now living in Nashville, Tennessee. He is the manager of the DuPont Plant in Old Hickory, Tennessee. He sees that only the best nylon is used in the making of hose for the women of Monroe County. After breaking all the girls hearts, Morris Proffitt is still single,d he has a job as chief accountant for Harvey's Department Store. Morris obtained a job for Mitchell Rhoton as clerk in the Infant's Wear Dept. at Harvey's. Mitchell is going steady with the Professor of Sociology at George Peabody in Nashville. Marjorie Ritter is now none other than Mrs. Ollis Proffitt. She andlmr husband own a large farm of l0,000 acres and they have four children. She has become well known for her famous butterscotch pie recipetut it is a secret to everyone but her. Mrs Billie Gene Phillips, nee Nita Rowland, is living in Tompkinsvila where her husband is candidate for circuit judge of the ninth judicial district Mrs Phillips is very gracious as a hostess as she and Billy Gene entertain all the politicians quite often Heading the Soil Conservation program in Monroe and adjoining counties is James Russell He has just perfected a rust proof grass for all the farmers of Monroe County, and he is soon to go to Europe todo research work there Dorothy Smith is married to a prosperous farmer of Clay County,Tennes- see, he is a mechanic in his spare time Dorothy and ber husband have a set of twins and a lot of stray dogs, cats, and 20 rabbits They will soon go into the rabbit business Jean Holland Turner and her husband, Arnold are living in Florida their luxurious hotel, The Everglades They have a private yacht and airplane and they are planning on flying to Italy on their secondlnney moon Reviel Hard is a registered nurse and she is working 1n the St Joseph Hospital in Lemphis, Tennessee The young internes all call rer their NSouthern Belle from Kentucky,nbut she is still carrying a torch for her flame of high school days The last picture I look at is of myself, nlizabeth Wilkerson I have a home in alifornia and am very happy with my husband, Billie Foley Billie raises all sorts of citrus fruits and I am a registered nurse, at the General Hospital in Los Angles fQH,6iSS3 HHUHILIL We, the Seniors of HSOU, being of usual unsound mind and in good health on this First day of May, 1950, do hereby will and bequeath our unearthly property as hereunder stated To Gamaliel High School, a beautiful picture of ourselves to be hung in the hall and admired by the future classes, and our initials carved To Mr Steen, all spare paper wads not used in class, and all know ledge of Bugology To Mr Carder, all of our used jokes and knowledge of Agriculture 35 D O I ' 0 A P' 0 - ' ' in , . .
