As the season progressed, so did the Pirates, finishing a close 4th in the conference and 2nd in the sectional tournament fwith five District Qualifiersj. The district tournament saw a proud showing by the orange and black. A few more hard fought upsets took place and only a couple points separated the Holstein wres- tlers from some state champions.
