The highlight ofthe evening was the crowning of our King and Queen, Merritt and lean, after the Boyalty's pro- cession through the candle-lit column formed by the Concert Choir. Friday afternoon, the classes were dismissed early in order for all to see the parade. This was a new project in the High School and proved to add to the festivities. Several weeks ahead of Homecornin the classes got together and planned their class floats. There were six floats in allg one representing each class, one for the Royalty by the cheerleaders, and one from the Alumni. The band led the parade up Maple Street and through town. The finale of the events was the game at night. We hosted Woodbury Central and won with the final Score of 7-6. Several of the guests qualified as the suspected murderer, and the terror mounted as the policeman on the case oould find no positive clues to the killer's identity. The plight worsened when it was discovered that the telephone wire connecting the guesthouse to the outside world had been cut. At the end of the first act Mrs. Boyle, an elderly guest was murdered. The rest of the play dealt with the capture of the criminal.
