cv e - f ez , X4 HPF., .L f ,. 'L-A , , 'l -mai -- AL H -. There was one great worker in our class, one that would pull history out of a. book. This was Clayburn. He is now writing the lives of great people of the twentieth century, including Alfhild Seglem, the greatest and best known au- thor of American literature, Lilliam Reimers, a leader of nurses in the Nightingale hospital at Kansas City, Harvey Droegmillar, the greatest violinist in the mid- dle west, a11d NValter Schmidt, an artist ranking in importance with Raphael. Herman Raukohl, another of this mechanical type of boys, is now the wealthy and prosperous successor of Henry Ford. This car, not very different from tl1c Ford, has the distinguishing feature-a square radiator. He calls this car the Beaten VValter Lohff has his factory across the block from Herman's and makes cars called the Fa'sters. There is great competition a11d we all enjoy visits to their factories to see just how good general science has done them. Lauren Soth, a leader even in school days, is an officer in the navy. He has several look-out fleets stationed near Cushing sea-port. Harriet Bauer, our pianist at high school, has been engaged as leader of the orchestra at thc Quimby Auditorium. Dell Greer has succeeded his parents in the hotel here. The building has been improved a great deal since '25, Clarence Rochau constructed the plans, as- sisted by Hugo Esvoldt, both having been geometry figure constructors. George Crane has been practi-cing medicine for the last eleven years at tl1e Holstein Hospital. Helen Roehlk has won fame in violin playing. She now plays at the largest theatres in New York. Her accompanist, Selma Neubauer, has gained re- nown at her piano. Francis Klema is a prosperous farmer south of Holstein. Bernette Gebers is a music and history teacher at Lake City. In the years that have passed, Thomas Lingle has gained for himself a fortune. He has the management of the Holstein Service Company in his hands. Henrietta Schmidt has remembered her Latin. She is a Latin teacher in the University of Louisiana. Luella VVienert, my good pal in high school, is still my best friend. Vie are enjoying the plans what We made then and are living in a flat in Fort Dodge. ZELMA VVILL, Sophomore Class Editor.
