LITTLETON As you receive the congratulations of your parents, relatives and friends upon your gradu- ation, the good wishes of many others may go unspoken. Yes, unspoken, but sincerely felt and undoubtedly expressed in some more tangible manner during your lives. ...... . It may have been expressed by some kind deed of a custodian, by the extra interest or help of a teacher, or even by one caring enough about you to see that you did a job well. Perhaps it is these little but important services which distin- guish Galt High School from all others. Services taken for granted demonstrate, however silently, that we do care. ......... . So that our thoughts will not go unspoken, the best wishes of your Board of Trustees, teachers, administrators, and the many others who have served you and our school go with you into the future. . ....... . . From Superintendent ORVELI. K. FLETCHER To the graduates of Class of 1967: Our congratulations go with you as you graduate from Galt High! One of the greatest goals in life is that of completing a course of action you have set out to perform .......... Another goal in life is that of service. We hope all of you will see that the true worth of any person is measured by the service he performs in behalf of others. As parents, board members, chairmen of committees, church leaders, and the like, persons grow in understanding and stature in the community where they live. .... . The world is full of needsg these needs can be met only by individuals who are concerned for others, and then move forward to do something positive. Be a member of that positive group! Set yourself up as an example! Remain unafraid to step forth from the group in behalf of your personal goals! This is a part of the worthwhile life. . ......... . . l ss m B0 RD 0 Tkll TEE ILLIAM PAAN W - S S TAV ERLING Presldent FRIEDA KEN EFICK 1950-1961 Archoe 1962-1967 Galt High ALEX DAMBACHER GUS G 1942-1952 Twin cities 1953-1967 Galt Hlgn ,. REED Head Counselor Congratulations, Good Luck, and Best Wishes are all appropriate words at a time like this, but I want to be a little more realistic in expressing my sin- cere thoughts for you ...... Let Honesty, Perseverance, Cheerful- ness, Thoughtfulness for others-, and Patience guide you as you go through life ........... May your coming years as young men and young women be as rewarding to you and yours as my past years of as- sociation with you have been to me. ALLEN B. GRAY Vice-Principal The skipper of the U.S.S. Coral Sea, recently returned from Viet Nam, told of the admiration for his crew-1600 of whom were teenagers. He said that when people criticize the younger gen- eration, they certainly are not ac- quainted wth the men of the Coral Sea........... After thirteen years of teaching and counselling at Galt High I feel the same way about the young men and women who graduate from Galt High School. The community can be proud of them, for these are our finest. . I heartily endorse Ralph Waldo Emer- son's glowing tribute to youth, "When duty whispers low, 'thou must,' the youth replies 'I can'." This year's grad- uates are truly of the "Can Do" gen- eration, and we expect things of them as they meet the challenges of the future. . . . .... . . I have got to know America and the people much better. It has been a good exper- ience to go to a foreign country and see that schools, people, and community are just about the same all over the world. This time here in Galt has been a wonder- ful time and I have been enjoying every day of it, but it. has gone by so fast. . . I think Galt is a wonderful community. I have made many friends here, and everybody has been so friendly and helpful to me. I have been made to feel right at home. At last I want to thank all of you for everything you have done to make my stay here so wonderful. 73:- ., V5 .1 r xg .Lt k iss- " E H X Hi 5 I 'fx k.--, uf, JANICE BAUMANN Choorleadar 'P eq:- BECKY GEORGI Cheerleader fx , -ur CINDY HORST Rally Commmee ,.
