High School graduation always begins a new phase of life for everyone and is experienced only once. I sincerely hope that your experiences with the Galesburg-Augusta Schools will help you to cope with your adult life and increase your ability to accept your new responsibilities, whatever they may be. John H. Wagar, Superintendent 1975 To the Class of 1975 This year has been one of opportunity for you and for me. I sincerely consider it a privilege to have, once again, been associated with you in our educational system. There are many complexities to life. There is frustration and despair. However, there is also hope and hap- piness available to each and every one of us. If each of you will be willing to take ' the chance’ and do your utmost to take advantage of the opportunities which you will find present in your life, you will find your life to be reward- ing and happy. To have had the first-hand experience of having known most of you as Junior High stu- dents and seeing the fantastic growth of you as people has been both enlightening and reward- ing. You have reaffirmed my faith in our young people today. I Thank You! My best wishes to each of you as you com- mence your life outside of the Galesburg- Augusta Community School system. We have contributed in helping to prepare you for life. Show your appreciation for this preparation by making the most of the future opportunities with which you will be presented.
