Walter as an electrician impresses Mr. Stillman who thinks he might be a good son-in law. Family affairs are even worse when Mrs. lV.orrison social friend of Mrs. Stillman tries to annex Alexander Stillman as her daughter Patricias boy- .riend. Alexander is interested in a model airplane contest. This his father finds out and forbids him to enter. He decides to spite the family by eloping with Patricia but is prevented by not having enough rnoney and not being of age. Father is getting ready to give his radio speech when he loses his voice. Walter is called in and saves the day by taking a record of the speech to the radio station. Mrs. Stillman relents about coverall s not being nice and Susan gets her man. The play is just like the people next door going through their trials and tribulations. Page Forty-f ive Th?
