You couldn't walk down the street without being handed a sticker, button, or the popular election ballots. Various rallies and dinners were attended by the Young Republicans to show their support for their republican candidates. Under the leadership of Susan Nunn, as president, and Ruth Ann Otey, as secretary-treasurer, this was the most outstanding political oriented club in our school. CLUBS 105

Some of our projects were: donating money to the SCA for Homecoming flowers and to the Galax Christmas Party. Members also helped pack the items for the Christmas Party boxes. The main goal of the FBLA is to in- crease business knowledge and to prepare the members for the business world.
