Five auto mechanics students listen attentively during a demonstration. Even though VICA appears to be very intelligent co-workers altogether, it does not represent this. VICA CVocational In- dustrial Clubs of Americaj is a new club which has proven to be very successful. lt involves all the Vocational classes in the school and has shown an active part among-the teachers and students. The officer installment dinner gave the club its opening boost. Big John Ricter cooked his world famous barbequed chicken and the vocational department was opened to the public displaying our fine equipment. Members of the VICA club pay close attention in the December meeting, Ann Hennis puts herself to sleep. CLUBS 103

You couldn't walk down the street without being handed a sticker, button, or the popular election ballots. Various rallies and dinners were attended by the Young Republicans to show their support for their republican candidates. Under the leadership of Susan Nunn, as president, and Ruth Ann Otey, as secretary-treasurer, this was the most outstanding political oriented club in our school. CLUBS 105
