ure in dedicating our annual, the GALATIAN, to
you. For without your guidance and patience, this
annual would not have been possible.

MR. JACK LARGE
It could be that the youth of today will make one of the greatest decisions ever
made by Americans. That decision will be whether we will continue to live under our
present form of government or whether we will succumb to the communistic govern-
ment strangling so many countries of the world. I don 't believe this decision will be
made by use of atomic bombs or guided missiles. I believe it will be made in the
mind of men.
The extent to which we exercise our God -given abilities to think, to love, and to
work will largely determine the nature of the decision that will be made. If we ex-
pect more and more from our government and not demonstrate our willingness to take
care of ourselves, we are in great danger of losing the freedom we now enjoy. A so-
ciety made up of too many people who think "the world owes me a living" and "let
John do the work" could be a pushover for a type of government that makes many
promises and fulfills none. Young people, don't be afraid to work! It has killed very
few people and even those few must have died with a clear conscience.
MRS . LOMA ALLEN
