HIT 'EM AGAIN! Gaithersburg enjoyed another brilliant season in I958, coming through with a 5 win, 2 loss, I tie record. The Trojans started the season off with a I9-6 victory over Northwood and continued to play the rest of the games with similar skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The highlights of this year's team were the wonderful inside running game, and the good long and short passing game. Perhaps the strongest point was our defensive team, which owes a great deal of thanks to Hector Huerta and Garland Kirk. The captains of our team, quarterback John Willsie, and fullback Morgan Griffin also displayed great skill. Our most exciting game of the year, GHS vs. RMHS, resulted in victory for Gaithersburg, 7-6. Morgan Griffin made the touchdown and Darby Burdette kicked the extra point. And as for the coaching-it can be summed up in two words-"The Greatest?" 74 M fry. John Harvill Varsity Coach my -- 1 .
