Ibe Crucible The nights of December 8 and 9 climaxed six weeks of rehearsals and preparations by the drama depart- ment for their production of The Crucible by Arthur Miller. Financially and theatrically a success, this allegorical drama of the early witchcraft trials in New England drew the largest audiences of any of Gahras productions. Much of this enthusiasm was evoked by the skill with which Karen Wray and Bob Lopez handled the leads. Each of the 20 cast members have good reason to be proud of the presentation. Passionate and bitter conflicts were to blame for the tension felt between John and Elzzabeth Proctor. Ibe East 1?
