Harb KB ...i Sw, N 0101:-Country l V E., By compiling a 17-win, one-loss record, Gahr's freshman cross-country squad became the winningest distance team in school history. The single defeat, which came in the Suburban League Finals, did not prevent the Gahr runners from captur- ing the league championship after going undefeated for 17 straight meets. This record included winning the Cal High Invitational in which they outran five other schools with Henry Beltran placing second, Dwayne Jordan sixth, Bill Fagundes twelfth, Todd English fourteenth, and David Wertz G twenty-second. .. 5 fr of In the league finals, the freshmen harriers still finished a respectable second. Bill Fagundes placed fifth and Henry Beltran seventh to win individual medals in those finals, while DwayneJordan,Todd Eng1ish,and Ron Kruidhof scored team points for the Gladiators. David Wertz, Jim Zorn, Greg 189' T1 Quintana, S. Thompson, R. Fredricy, S. Heacox, S. Tlzacher.
