rr ; Tiger Head Coach Vince DiLorenzo sums up the football season: 1 am very proud of the way the football team handled the adversities and injury problems we had this year. This class of seniors will graduate knowing they have never been beaten by Sansom or Litchfield. The legacy they leave behind is that anything is possible if you will set your goals, believe in them and then work hard to accomplish them. This is the price of success. The football team once again had a winning season. Our record was 6-3 and included some close wins as well as heartbreaking losses. The Tigers proved that they could indeed progress and carry on as the pride of our city. It was difficult to top the performance of last year's state championship team, but no one ever accused the 1987 Tigers of resting on their laurels”. They worked hard throughout the season and earned the respect of their many fans and supporters by playing with determination and effort at every outing. No, it wasn't another state championship year, but it was definitely a year when we all could say It's great to be a Gadsden Tiger! 4 lilfJg56As7 7i 3UAlff 3 ti2rsB25i0ry5 b% dmmm.
