We pre- sent to you the 1985 Senior Notables. DEN A ARMSTRONG was our 1984 Homecoming Queen. She has been a |.V. and Varsity Cheerleader. Key Club Sweetheart. 2 yrs.: Homecoming Maid. 3 years: and a member of Hl-Y and Beta Club. CAROLE CAIN received the honor of Coronation Queen 1985 She is very active as Senior Class Secretary. Beta Club President and captain of the Girl’s Cross Country Team. IRENE GILMORE was Senior Beauty. Sophomore Beauty. Coronation Court. 2 years; Homecoming Maid. 2 years: Key Club Sweetheart. 2 years: |V and Varsity Cheerleader. Moat Outstanding Football Cheerleader. 1 yr.: and a member of Mu Alpha Theta and Beta Club. ALISON ROBERTS has read our morning devotions this year as Student Council Chaplain. She has been recognized as a National Merit Commended Student: National Honor Society President: Key Club Sweetheart. 1 year. Mu Alpha Theta. 3 yrs.: Scholar's Bowl. 2 yrs.; and Beta Club. 3 years. fo’NETTA ROBINSON was our Head Varsity Cheerleader and selected Most Outstanding Cheerleader '85. She was in (Coronation (Court 4 years; Who’s Who Among American High School Students: Beta Club. 3 years: Key Club, and Oratorical Contest Winner TRACI TALLEY was a Varsity Cheerleader. 2 years: ).V. Cheerleader. 2 yrs.; Key Club Sweetheart. 4 yrs.; Beta (Club and Mu Alpha Theta. TRACY TIMMONS served as Color Guard Head. She served as National Honor Society Secretary. Senior (Coronation Maid; Who's Who Among American High School Students: Beta Club Vice- President: Spanish Club President: Key Club and Scholar Bowl Team. MONICA WHISENANT has been head majorette for 3 years. She was in the Coronation Court 2 years; Senior Beauty: Spanish National Honor Society; Beta Club Chaplain: and in Mu Alpha Theta and Key Club. BOBBY BUGG was editor of the Magnavox. has held first pisition on the Tennis Team for three years and was captain this year. He was a member of the Beta Club. 3 yrs.; Key Club. 4 yrs.: and was the Senior Class Vice President. DOUG FORD was the President of the Senior Class, a member of the Senior Coronation Court, and the photographer for the ’’Magnavox.” He was a member of Beta Club. Key Club and Drama Club. DOUGLAS GUYTON was elected Most Valuable Player of the football team this year after being on the team for four years. He was a member of the Coronation Court. 3 years: baseball team. 4 yrs.: and par- ticipated in Homecoming activities all four years. SAM NORRIS was a member of the Coronation Court for four years and was Head Kingsman his Senior year. He played football. 4 yrs.: was Crucible Sports Editor. |unior Class Vice President, and Key Club Vice President. PETER SPIWAK was President of the Student (kruncil. He was a member of the Track Team. Soccer Team. 2 yrs.; Golf Team. Hi-Y. 2 yrs.; Bible Club and received awards in both literary and visual arts. OHN REYNOLDS was Football Team (Captain after having been a member of the team for four years. JODIE SMITH was King of the 1985 Coronation Court after being a court member for three years. He was a member of the Key Club 4 years, and served as Key Club President his senior year; he was a member of the National Honor Society. 3 yrs.. and served as Vice-President his senior year, he was a memtier of the football team 4 yrs.. and was team captain his senior year. SPENCER WILLIAMS was a Letterman in football, three years; basketball, two years; and track, three years. He was a member of the Coronation Court for three years and served as a reporter for the Magnavox.
