The royal court in beautiful ball gowns and elegant tuxedos added excitement and anticipation to the occasion as they waited for the King and Queen of Gadsden High School to be crowned. Stacey Snyder has been a vivacious cheerleader and was Senior Homecoming Maid. Mar- va Morgan has been class beauty each year. Randa Smith has been Key Club Sweetheart, a great S.C.A. President, and enjoyed being in Cor- onation Court. Traci Tucker has been a Key Club Sweetheart, served as Drum Major, and placed number three in senior class ratings. Kathy McNabb has been a varsity cheerleader for three years, Key Club Sweetheart, and was crowned Cor- onation Queen 1983. Alicia Bullock has been a Key Club Sweetheart, and head-cheerleader. Jeff Chandler has been in National Honor Society and is the 1983 Valedictorian. Rodney Alford is a member of National Honor Society, played varsity football, and was on the track team. Todd Huff is a popular member of the senior class. Brian Vaughn has been an outstan- ding football player, and track star. Craig Dudley has been an outstan- ding basketball player, and was chosen most valuable player in the state tournament. Otis Adams has been a star basketball player for four years, was chosen for the all-state basketball tournament, and enjoyed being in the Coronation Court. Bart Bailey has been Key Club State Governor and Senior Class President. Terry Tolson has been an effective quarterback at G.H.S. and has been Kingsman for four years. 64 FRESHMAN Debbie Cusimano. Crystal Silvey. Gina Wills, and Rosie Cook are the Solid Gold” dancers. Kelli Pollock flashes a smile at the audience. The Freshman Stunt Night theme was “A Family Feud. It portrayed a typical family sitting around the television set fighting over what they were going to watch. As they flipped the channel they saw versions of “Lawrence Welk, Richard Simmons, The Dating Game, and Solid Gold. The Freshman had a great time and were excited to get 2nd place in the judging. SOPHOMORES Frankie Hightower sings What I Did For Love. Billy |enkins sings along with Cats. Chorus Line. and Damn Yankees in the grand finale. Sophomore stunt night took up where their 1982 production left off. Billy (enkins goes to New York City in search of his girlfriend, Dee Dee Dupont, who has gone to Broad- way for employment. As Billy combs the Broadway circuit, he comes across several entertainment pro- ductions. The show goes on as Billy sings along with: the production Cats, watches the slapstick humor of Damn Yankees, and then finally finds out that Dee Dee Dupont is not to be found in New York City. Billy [enkins is lost in New York City. 66 Activities JUNIORS VICTORY!!! The class of '84, with a minimum of practice and a maximum of desire trumphed with a first place win in the 1983 Stunt Night. Class presi- dent, Chris Arbery, and a committee of classmates planned the show. The first place made the classes' total wins complete. David Hardin is Hank Williams |r. It exhibited the many hidden talents of the class of 83. It was indeed a lot of fun for the seniors and a night they will remember in years to come.
