MR. VICTOR F. BAIZ Principal Our esteemed principal, Mr. V. F. Baiz, who this year completes his fifth year as head of GAR, has always been a loyal friend and understanding advisor to the students of our school. His unbounded interest and enthusiasm has been an in- centive to us all. MR. CHARLES HENSLEY Vicerprincipal Coughlin's loss has been GAR'S gain in the person of our new assistant-principal, Mr. C. Hensley. His pleasing personality and fine sense of humor have already endeared him to the student body. NllSS MARY R. NlcANlFF Director of Activities School life would be dull indeed were it not for the efforts of Miss McAniff. lt is through her untiring zeal that the proms, concerts, teas, and all the extra-curricular activities are made colorful, exciting, and smoothly run. '53 MR. ALBERT SALLITT Director of Guidance The class of 1958 was privileged to be the first in GAR'S history to have a full- time guidance counselor. Already Mr. Sallitt's help and direction have been of inestimable value to countless students of all grades. MRS. MELBA HOWE and P. FUGE Office Personnel Mrs. Howe and Peggy Fuge have gained distinction for both their efficiency and geniality. At any hour of the day, they may be found hard at work, and still smiling. They also render invaluable as sistance in training commercial students who are assigned to the office as part of their clerical course.
