Soon we realized The parT we were To play in The eyes oT The under-classmen. The spoTlighT Tell on us, and our every move and gesTure was a paTTern Tor The younger sTudenTs To Tollow. We TelT as Though we musT play our parTs well, To leave behind us The memory oT a Tine class, a Tine year, and a Tine record. cupied The senior seaTs during chapel exercises. We TelT T-' our digniTy rise as we wenT To classes carrying wiTh us our impressive looking Virgil books, chemisTry, solid geomeTry, and oTher advanced TexTs. We remember The TirsT Tall PaTrons' Day when our Teachers and moThers meT, The opening baskeTball games, The impressive ChrisTmas play . . . and Then ChrisTmas vacaTion. ATTer New Year's we seTTled down To some hard sTudy Tor The mid-year examinaTions, buT we managed To aTTend baskeTball games .... We were charmed by The opereTTa, CapTain oT The Guard, and we ThoughT The senior play, Mrs. Temple's Telegram, The besT ever. And Then spring vacaTion! And aTTer ThaT we aT- Tended The meeTings oT The various senior commiTTees. . . . Senior phoTographs! WhaT a Time we had choosing our besT pose Tor The Garchive .... Track season .... Baseball games. BuT all Too soon we realized ThaT graduaTion was buT a shorT Time away. As we pracTiced our commencemenT program, deep inside we experienced a wisTTul Teeling. .. .And Then The ouTing .class nighT . . .class day. . . and Tinally . . .
