ADMINISTRATICDN We are iustly proud of the many honors won by Fulton High School students. However, of even greater significance are the less tan- gible things manifested in the everyday life of the school: a sense of fair ploy, an understanding concern for others, and a desire to make a real contribution to society. These things show the worth of a school's effort to "educate for citizenship in a democracy." We, of the FORUM Staff for l958, have tried to make it just that. We have tried to embody in the 1958 FORUM everything that is Fulton, the activi- ties, the school spirit and the friendliness of everyone here at Fulton. All of us on the FORUM staff have Co- operated to the fullest extent to endeavor to make this annual the best FORUM that Fulton has ever had. As you leaf thru this book, we hope you will agree. We would especially like to thank these people for working on the following sections: Becky Minor ............... Senior Section Gloria Ulrich ....... ....., J Unior Section Betty Hutto . . . . . . These are the people who sell and "draw up" the advertisements which appear in the FORUM, and without their effort the FORUM couIdn't be printed. It is hard work, but it pays off, because the advertising staff gets valuable experience in meeting and selling to the public. They learn much about the rapidly growing and well-paying field of advertising. Finally, FORUM advertising is an excellent way of making extra money because the staff members work on a commission basis. These are the students who gain experience, spending money, and plenty of fun from their work on the ' 'bread and butter " side ofthe FORUM. BUILDS Officially known as "First Battle Group", Fulton Regiment CROTCD, our Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Unit has advanced by giant strides to reach its present honored position in the city. Through classroom instruction, drill, and leadership training our cadets are preparing themselves for their responsibilities of the future. We have seen evidence of their proficiency in the colorful parades and ceremonies held on Saber Day and Veterans Day and again in the outstanding results achieved in inspections conducted by the Georgia Military District and the Third United States Army. : . .1 3, A 1 - A- '7"T-U"""'l ,..
