THE FULTON FORUM CLASSPOEM We sailed forth on a beautiful morn, Freshfwashed with sparkling dewg Unaccustomed to the ways of the world, We launched forth in Uthirtyftwof' Upon the good ship "Fulton," We sailed full speed from the bay. We had a glimpse of the ocean We would sail upon some day. We braved the sea, full speed ahead- Full speed -upon new seas. Our compass always straight and true, We raised proud heads to the breeze. We are entering a beautiful harbor, Leaving our cares and glad times behindg From here we soon depart .From comrades and friends so kind. But tho' larger ships we sail, The joys, the hopes, the fears we know Dear "Fulton', of our -byfgone days In memory will ever clearer grow. -- DOROTHY PETERS, '36 ' Begg if - ,,:'

THE FULTON FORU SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On a beautiful September morning in 1932, the largest group of Freshmen ever known to Fulton at that time assembled in the school auditorium. After Mr. Ramsey talked to us a while he assigned us to our homerooms. Our teachers gave us Our schedules and book lists, then we were dismissed. Thus ended our first day in high school, which began our 'high school career. We are proud of the fact that a large group of our Freshmen were on the Honor Roll. During our Freshman year we were saddened by the death of our dearly beloved teacher and friend, Mrs. Ruth Ralston Johnson, who died March 13, 1933. In the fall of '33 we re'entered Fulton, acquainted now with our school and faculty, and proud that we were no longer Freshmen. Many of our students took part in the various activities afforded at Fulton. Our Junior year came, bringing us many honors. Seven members of Our class were elected to the Fulton Chapter of The National Honor Society-Anabel Buckner, Evelyn Cawthon, Dorothy Larimore, Laura Pierce, Mary Ruth Sheils, Mary Nell Taylor, and Wenham White. The annual dance given to the Seniors by the juniors was held in the school auditorium, and was apparently a success. At last we are Seniors! What a grand feeling. We feel very important now and are proud of it. This year the membership Of the National Honor Society was increased by nine members from our Senior Class-Shirley Beasley, Willie Mae Cathcart, Marian Davis, Eva Fuller, Charles Gafnea, Elizabeth Gibson, Virginia McLain, Bessie Peacock, and Alma Rogers. Cne fact that we are very proud of is that our school won the banner for the best-drilled A Company, under the leadership of Marvin Kennedy, at the annual R. O. T. C. day exercises, held this year at Russell. Even though we are somewhat glad to finish high school, we hate to leave dear ole Fulton and the dear Faculty we have learned to love so well. Regardless of the fields that we might enter into, we shall always have pleasant memories of the days spent at Fulton High School.
