The actor imitates life or rather holds a mirror up to Nature so that we may enter our worlds as spectators instead of par- ticipants. In this way we are separate and yet there is a sort of cummunion between actor and audience - a mutual celebration and sharing. Such sharing allows us to transcend our separation. It ' s electric, elevating to our spirits. It touches our souls and rounds out our dreams. To John and Rex who shared so much - " For this relief, much thanks. (k M - M. CohsL)r NuVpLX ' The spare time of John and Rex is spent maneuver- ing their talents for High School androids. They or- bited our English satellites and performed a spec- trum of their works in the Little Theater. This was a galactic experience for both the students and ac- tors. 109 CAST Mana Rainer, a Postulant at Nonnberq Abbey Sally Turman Sister Berthe, Mistress of the Novices Becky Tanner Sister Margaretta, Mistress of Postulants Lauren Schorse Sister Sophia Janet Switzer The Mother Abbess Gale Bonotto Capt Georq von Trapp Michael O ' Hern Franz, butler Troy Wigestrand Frau Schmidt, housekeeper Lisa Allen LiesI child of Capt. von Trapp Vivian Tudge Fnedrich, child of Capt. von Trapp Juan Corral Louisa, child of Capt. von Trapp Margaret Fowler Kurt, child of Capt von Trapp John Stoffel Brigitta. child of Capt von Trapp Susan Welch Marta. child of Capt. von Trapp Marianne Wightman Gretl, child of Capt. von Trapp Jane Allen Rolf Gruber David Lowe Baroness Elsa Schraeder Denise Vallm Ursula, a maid Barbara Bond Max Detweiler Michael Styles HerrZeller Steve Klippenstein Baron Elberfeld Don Cannon Admiral von Schreiber Imad Jamal A Postulant Caria Sypolt Baroness Elberfeld Sandi Elkin Frau Zeller Suzanne Phillips THE SDLIMD Df IVILJSJC The Boyfriend was this years summer scope of theat- rical humanoids. As we continue through life, we will treasure more and more the time spent in high school Making new friends, taking on responsibilities and participating in activities make high school something of a maturing experience. We learn to take the good times with the bad, and in doing that, we set ourselves up with an attitude that will be beneficial all through our lives. Going to Fullerton High School, one soon realizes the big part tradition plays in campus life. With such traditions, a person always leaves feeling he has been a part of the school, and a part of the school ' s history. If one thing stands out from high school, it ' s the friendships that have been made. There is something special about friendships made in high school; they last a lifetime. One cannot forget about the education received here either. It is another thing that will lead you through life. Whatever the graduating Seniors do, whether they are going to college or going to work right away, they will soon prize the education they acquired at Fullerton What you do with the rest of your life is up to you, but by being involved at Fullerton Union High School you have had a great starti Good luck in whatever you do. v- ay Messner, ASB President i ThE fQHCE LEADERS 182 Director of Elections - Teresa Schmidt SEMflTmOS IJI IiTE! Mary Helen Castro Yearbook Advisor An annual is a collection of memories, printed and bound in a single album. At first glance, it appears to be only pictures and words. But under the pictures and words, hours upon hours of work are hidden. Everyone who has worked on the annual has given a little bit of themselves. Hidden beneath the pictures and words are the efforts of a group of people called the annual staff. This year ' s stafF, through their hard work and dedication, have produced an annual which I feel we can be proud of. I would like to give my special thanks to Ms. Cas- tro - for your patience and understanding. Laura Anderson and Greg Hemsoth - for supplying us with their invaluable guidance.
