D, BIALAS S. BISHOP Seniors View Life In New Decade On May 25, 1970 48 F.H.S. Seniors received their diplomas and for all began a new life .... a new life which coincided with the dawning of a new decade, the seventies. The sixties had been taken up with a life of schooling; a life at home with parental protection and guidance. The life of the seventies proposes changes for each graduate. For some there will be higher education in colleges and technical schools, and with higher education a new career. For some, formal education will end and jobs will be taken; marriages will occur. Many young men in the class of '70 will no doubt serve their country in the armed forces. Regardless of whether formal edu- cation is continued or not, all graduates will face one of the greatest learning proc- esses, the education of life itself, which includes living away from home and parents and making decisions without opinion from others. All graduates will no doubt look back to the beginning of this new life when another decade dawns, and always remem- ber their year: 1970.
