The mixed chorus gained an excellent rating in music con- test competition. In addition, the group performed for the Christmas and Pre- Contest concerts. The highly-successful Madrigal gained a superior rating at contest in class ''B ' competition. The group also sang for numerous community organi- zations and gatherings throughout the year. Both groups were under the direction of Mr. Gary Yost. Serving as accompanists for the groups were Senior Beth Bard and Sopho- more Mary Morgan. Members of the 1969-70 Madrigal were 1. to r. Gilson, T. Horacek, M. Gloor, M. Walker, M. Hunzeker, D. Larson, D. Fitzgerald. Boys Glee Earns ‘Excellent’? Mark Male vocalists gave a good account of themselves during the school year. The Boys Glee, although being able to practice once weekly, earned an excellent rating at music contest. In addition to the contest performance, the group also sang at the Annual Christmas Concert. Individual male vocalists also did well. Senior Mark Hun- zeker and Sophomore Mark Gloor earned superior ratings at contest for their solos. Junior Dale Dubas was rated 'excel- lent'’ for his contest performance, Dubas was joined by Dave Larson, Doug Gilson, and Dave Fitzgerald in making up person- nel for the Junior Boys Quartette, which also sang at the Christmas Concert. Fullerton High's fine male vocalists included 1, to r. Junior Dale Dubas, Sophomore Mark Gloor, and Senior Mark Hunzeker, peat
