Miss Connie Babcock, who instructed all art classes during her first year at F.H.S,, is a graduate of Greenville College, She also assisted with drama activities, Mr, Ralph Koskela completed his third year at F.H.S, Mr. Koskela, a Black Hills State of South Dakota graduate, taught biology and grade science and was a sophomore class co-sponsor, Two Share Coaching Duties Mr. Leigh Metcalf, a Nebraska Wes- leyan graduate, completed his fifth year at F,H.S, He taught world history and geography, Spanish, and sponsored the senior class, Mr, Dean Petricek, a University of Nebraska graduate, taught physical ed- ucation and driver education during his third year at F,H.S, He also served as head basketball coach, assisting in foot- ball and track, Mr, Gary Yost completed his eleventh year as music instructor at F,H.S, Mr. Yost is a Nebraska Wesleyan graduate, Mr, Bill Uhler served his first year as math instructor at F,H,S, Mr. Uhler, a Kearney State College graduate, also assisted in sponsoring the junior class,

Teacher Role: Dedication The teacher's role is most often un- appreciated. The long hours of prepara- tion, caring for students needs, and the problem of being a disciplinarian as well as a friend often go unnoticed, This role, which is not always best described as a job or duty , is better described as a dedication, Mr, Gary Camp, a Kearney State Col- lege graduate, taught freshman and sophomore English during his second year at F.H,S, He also sponsored the yearbook and Student Council. Mr, Barry Miller, a University of Ne- braska at Omaha graduate, completed his fourth year as an industrial arts and physical education instructor, He was also head football coach, assisting in basketball and track. Miss Minnie Hendrickson, a University of Nebraska graduate, served her sec- ond year as a social science instructor at F,H.S, She also assisted in spon- soring the Pep Club, Mr. Walt Wolvin completed his third year as F.H.S, guidance counselor, He is a University of Nebraska grad- uate, Mrs. Irene Kula served her second year as F,H,A, sponsor and home economics instructor, She is a Uni- versity of Nebraska graduate.
