Band Attends K.S.C. Band The Marching and Con- cert bands completed a re- warding year in '68-'69. The Marching band performed football halftime shows and attended Kearney State's Band Day in October. The Concert Band performed for the Christmas Concert and Band Concert in March, The group also received an 'ex- cellent” rating at contest. In addition, the Pep Band provided spirit at all home football and basketball games. Members of the French Horn Quartet that earned an ex- cellent rating at contest were 1, to r. Judy Maly, Darla Trosper, Debby Shotkoske, and Janet Brower. Junior Dianne Shotkoske earned an excel- lent contest rating for her trumpet solo, A look through the band room door shows band members practicing dilligently in preparation for contest. Members of the “superior” rated Clarinet Quartet in- cluded 1, to r. Jeanene Davis, Betty Grzywa, Nancy Swanson, and Mary Fredrickson.
