Learning is a new and ex- citing experience for stu- dents of Fullerton High School. The use of overhead projectors and movie cam- eras are used extensively: everywhere from revealing the complexities of a living cell to tracing a bill through Congress. Also this year, Spanish students were able to increase their understand- ing of the language through the use of tapes and records. Art students develop the technique of clay modelling in addition to expressing themselves through paint and canvas, Audio-Visual Devices Aid Learning. r. Juniors learn the results of the election for County Government Day. Sophomore students learn a new theorem in Mr. Wolvin's geometry class. y The high school curriculum Mr. Dickey, math instructor, presents a lecture to his freshman algebra class. represents a challenge to all students. It provides the basic necessary knowledge such as physical education, homemaking, and speech. And it also prepares college- bound students with advanced courses in math and science. Art was a new addition to the curriculum,

Phys. Ed is tournament, Mr. Dissmeyer and Mr. Petricek participate in an impromptu ping-pong match, The sculptures begin to take shape as the art students develop talent in clay modelling. Besides the usual emphasis on knowledge, FHS also places a great deal of im- portance on the physical de- velopment and co-ordination of the student. Thus, two years of physical education are required. In these classes, strength andendur- ance are measured twice a year through the National Physical Fitness test.
