This year thirty-eight band members under the direction of Mr. Gary Yost took part in the march- ing and concert band seasons. This year the band participated in the Melody Round-Up at Hastings, Nebraskag the Harvest of Harmony at Grand Island, Nebraskag and the annual band clinic. In addition to the out-of-town public appearances, the band made public appearances at all the home football games. From the bandpersonnel mem- bers for the Pep Band were selected. The Pep Band had a busy year play- ing for all the pep rallies and the home basketball games. Marching Band and Concert Band Twirlers for this year were Diana Black, Marilyn Whitney, Adele Mueller, Lana Wondercheck, Sherry McNeff. The two young twirl- ers kneeling are Debbie Nesbitt and Jacque Robertson.

Chorus Participates in Choral Clinic Sixty-five members from the boys' and girls' glee club were chosen to participate in mixed chorus after trying out., The music department this year again pre- sented its Christmas concert and spring concert giving all music groups an opportunity to perform before the public. This year the Fullerton chorus attended the Albion Choral Clinic for the eighteenth consecutive year. Four chorus members attended and represented Fullerton at the State Music Clinic held at Norfolk, The students that attended were: Diana Black, Beverly Knowles, Lavern Miller, and Roger Wozny. Jac ue Yetter also attended State Clinic participating in theclaand section. All chorus members, if they desire, may try out for membership in the small groups. These groups sing for local civic groups, Women s Club, and contest. These small groups hold rehearsals after school hours and participating is the responsibility of each of the mem- ers. Mr. Yost devotes and donates his time before and after school hours to counseling, guiding, and rehearsing these small groups. Membership in either the boys' or girls' glee club is open to all students who enjoy singing vocal music. In these classes vocalists are taught fundamentals and interpretation of the rudiments of choral music. Some of the vocalists use the knowledge they have gained to sing solos for contest and other leadership activities. MADRIGAL BACK ROW: Dean Bard, Ronnie Beaman, Terry Brown.
