The year was not all fun, however, as the girls also took part in several self- improvement projects, especially the indi- vidual Family Unity projects, a panel on Marriage Calls for Preparation, and the style show of Home Economics projects held in conjunction with installation of new of- ficers. Community service was not neglected, either, as the girls helped with the Bundles for Children clothing drive, and canvassed the town on Halloween for UNICEF, and on Heart Sunday. Among the many services pro- vided by the Student Council this year was the badly needed conces- sion stand which they erected at the football field. The stand was used by all organizations. Mr. Dickey sponsored the Weekly meetings and many activities throughout the year. Two of the most popular of these activities were the hot soup machine which provided hot lunches for many students and the pop machine. The annual Career Day and College Night was held in October for Fullerton, Genoa, and Belgrade High School students. Diana Black, President of the Student Council, was assisted by Don Johnson, the Vice-President. Other officers Were Don Whitney, Sec- retary, and Jacque Yetter, Treas- urer. The Freshman class elects one representative to the Student Coun- cil. From the sophomore class, one representative is elected and one is carried over. Likewise the Junior class has three and the Senior class has four. The vice-president of each other organization is also included as a member. Students Art Delancy, Pat Voichahoske, and Janene Boardman confer with Mr. Horner during one of the College Night conferences. tudent Council Provides Concession iand B a r r y Kn ow 1 e s, Ly n n B ak e r, Sh e r ry M CN e ff, Bard, Treva Baker, Judy Fredrickson, Jeannie Travers, Larry Grotelueschen, Dave Christensen, Jacque Yetter, Beverly Knowles, Jody Gilson.
